Most Athleta sports bras or tops with a built-in bra I prefer to order a medium. I don't like my tops super tight and never have issue with a medium. I ordered this top in a medium and it was gaping at the under arm area as well as the area in the middle of my chest as though I needed at least a D cup to fill it. For reference, I am 5',6", 125 pounds and a 34B. I saw another reviewer mention this top flares slightly at the bottom and it does. I didn't mind that, but I ended up returning. In my opinion and with my body frame, it does not run small.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to write one for this built-in tank. I bought this tank top back in March and wore it for the first time today. The tank top is lacking support and the material retains sweat stains. I am bit disappointed in this purchase because I like the style 😉 ...

The top flares out a bit at the bottom. That was unexpected.

I'm sure this would fit some people just fine, but on me the elastic band running under the bust was much too tight, even in a size up from my usual, and the straps (non-adjustable) were too loose, so I ended up feeling both squeezed in AND unsupported at the same time. All wrong for me!
