These pants are comfy, fit just right and look great. Bonus: the zip pockets large enough for my phone to fit in. I'm petite, 5'3" and was worried they'd be too boxy in the hip with the elastic waist, but the wide elastic band helps and the pants lay just right for my sizing.

I really, really like this pant. Unfortunately I am 5'3 and wear plus sizes, and this was way too long and big in the legs; I don't mind hemming pants, but because of the cut of the leg, this style does not lend itself to hemming. I have seen other reviews with this same criticism. Please, please, make plus sized available in a short or petite length!. I also had the same problem with the Brooklyn pant; the hem detail makes it difficult to hem, but I like it so much I will make it work.

I was so excited to wear these on my vacation today, they looked so so so good when I tried on and just got over my hips. After about an hour of wearing they are SO LARGE they are falling off my body - and that's absolutely unusual for my large behind. The size M did not comfortably fit over my booty, so I went with a L that just nicely fit over my booty, and by the end of the day I'm sure these pants would fit someone twice my size. I've never had this terrible of an experience with the quality or design from athleta and I'm disappointed these pants will have to make it through several more days of vacation.
